"We are dwarfs, but dwarfs who stand on the shoulders of giants..."
Bernard of Chartres
We know a lot about the significance of the Russian piano school.
She plays a huge role in the history of musical art.
For many years I have been researching its historical connections.
As a result of my research, I have compiled a kind of "genealogical tree" of the Russian piano school
as an integral part of the World musical culture on the example of my professors and their line of succession.
It is a great honor for me to introduce my teachers.
These were amazing personalities and great musicians who opened for me
the way to the wonderful world of music.
My professors represent two fundamental traditions of the Russian and European piano school:
the tradition of Theodor Leshetizky and the tradition of Konstantin Igumnov.
